Aharon, I recently watched your tutorial on frame rates and it was very informing and helpful. But my question doesn’t lie in the tutorial itself but in the way it is presented. It is an amazing quality and I wondered how much of that information you would be willing to share with me?
I saved it to my desktop and I opened it in quicktime and looked at the codec info, but of course that doesn’t tell you everything.
I am using sorenson squeeze 4 on windows xp as my encoder. Maybe you use something better? I am not new to encoding but never have I had the quality that I have witnessed by your tutorial. Like I said before the quality is unbelievable! There isn’t even a speck of pixelization in the file! Hope to hear back or maybe even do a tutorial on it?
    thanks, Jeff

    Hey there-

I use Sqeeze with the CD setting for Quicktime. I change the size to 800×600, but that’s it.

    No other changes.

Sometimes if I think the file is too big, I will limit the file size, but that only makes it look worse not better.

I just asked Andrew a similar question. What type of screen capture are you using if I may ask?

Same one as Andrew – Camtasia Studio. Pretty good – but only for PC.

However, I edit in After Effects, not camtasia.
