  FOR-A LTR-120 LTO hybrid

  Hello, does anyone have any experience of the FOR-A LTO video recorders ? Basically, a hybrid type VTR with a built in hard drive, but instead of a conventional video tape mechanism, there is an LTO 5 drive (or can be LTO 6).

  The product is no longer supported by FOR-A. I’m looking for any user software and operations manual, or people’s personal experiences. It seems like a really cool concept, but in some ways, it’s essentially a VTR, and look what happened to them…

  HDCAM SR tapes were essentially a form of LTO tapes.
