footage with different framerates?
Hi,
I’m trying to create a little film about my last vacation with Sony Vegas Pro 13.The problem is, that I shot with different cameras, so now I have the following footage data (everything is full hd):
- 25fps (interlaced)
- 50fps (progressive)
- 59,940fps (progressive)
- 60fps (progressive) – this is an animation created with After Effects, so this could be altered.
So my idea was, to set up a Vegas-project with 60fps progressive. That works just fine for the 59,940- and 60fps-footage. 50fps seems to be smooth, but the 25fps interlaced footage is a little bit stuttering. So I googled and found the trick to disable resampling in Vegas – but it’s still stuttering.
So, how should I proceed? What is the best way to set up my project? Should I stick to the highest framerate used in the project, the lowest or something in between?
Note: I want to watch the finished film on a PAL-TV.Thanks in advance!
Sam
