I’m trying to fix someone else’s mistake here. They edited PAL footage on a NTSC timeline. Now that I’m trying to output the sequence I have ot undo this mistake since the footage looks all jittery if I redner it the way it is now. Sadly I have no way to recreate the sequence except to copy and paste the footage from the NTSc timeline. I try to drop that footage into a DV-Pal sequence but for some reason it wants to letterbox it now. There is also noticable squeezing of the image vertically. The footage isn’t set to anamorphic. The original media is not anamoprhic or letterboxed. Any ideas?

    Hi,

Are you dragging the copied clips into the PAL sequence or dragging the NTSC sequence into it?

Also NTSC footage is smaller in height than PAL. NTSC = 720×480 , and PAL = 720×576 so you will get some black lines above and below.
