I recently shot a live show and the footage automatically split itself between 2 cards. One of the card’s information was deleted and so I can’t normally import the data from the remaining card. I transferred all the BPAV files on my harddrive. So my question is… how to get the files out of the BPAV folders in general and for my one split onto two cards that still remains?

    Thanks!

    Hi Dan,

    Welcome to Creative COW.

What computer platform are you on and which Sony programs are you using to transfer/combine your EX clips?

I am on a MAC OSX and the programs I have is the XDCAM Transfer. The reason I copied the files off the SXS card is because it wouldn’t let me Import the file and I had to use the card again. Thanks.

If this isn’t working then you’ve done something wrong when you copied the files from the SxS cards which you did with Clip Browser of course.

you should be able to select the incomplete clip, then hit select all in the lower right corner, and it will import the clip in several chunks
