  • Footage from the 300 this weekend…lots of panning & zooming

    Purpose:
Lots of people wanted to see some 300 footage and it was our first real outing with the camera.
    • We were not concerned with perfect camera settings.
    • Everyone has been screaming about their concern of noise and “rolling shutter” so we thought we’d put it to a very fast pace test.
    • all footage is as shot…EXCEPT…around in the middle where I did 360. I ramped that up 300% to match the music.
    • Squeezed to a 29Mb QT file

We basically took the camera out of the box with these settings.
720 60p, Shutter set @ 100, aperature was mainly @ 2.8 – 4.0, ND filter set on 3, Scene 6, matt box with a 4″ x 4″ Cir. polarizer, and shot mostly in Intra 100 & 50, focus was taped to infinity. There are a couple of DVCPRO HD clips in here also.
