The mental image of this effect comes from the end of Fight Club before it hit’s the credits.

Let me describe the effect, it’s sort of like the footage we are seeing suddenly shifts and shakes like footage on a reel and breaks up with some jerking and a few lines running across before transitioning into the credits or what have you.

Anyone understand this kind of effect or know how to do it?

I put it in the Sony Vegas forum because that’s what I use.

My Adobe Suite won’t open and gives me a License error that makes no sense.

    Life’s about being entertained.

You could duplicate the tracks into as many pieces you want it to breakup into, then mask out all but a different piece on each track, then keyframe each piece moving out, simulating it breaking up with track motion, setting each track to 3D Source Alpha to give it a 3D look as it’s breaking up. Alot of work but it could be done this way. Hope this helps, Danny Hays
