Fonts missing in Character upon re-load
I had to have my hard drive replaced so reloaded CS2 and the font list shows under Type/fonts but not under Window/type/character. I had this problem once before after reloading but can’t remember how I solved it. Please help.

The palette is probably either hidden under another palette or is part of another palette and needs to be selected to be visible. Try making all your palettes bigger to see what is in each palette box.
