I need ideas on the best way to accomplish this effect….
I have a sphere that has a Wind deformer applied to it so that when the frames pass the shape changes slightly. I have a texture already applied to the surface and the camera is very close to the surface, so much so that the edges of the sphere are only visable ever now and again as the camera hovers across the surface.
The animation is set to lyrics and the effect im trying to achieve is to have the lyrics appear on the surface of the sphere as they are sung. I have no idea of how to make it so that the text conforms to the sphere particularily as it changes.
Although this is what I am aiming for i’m open to other suggestions on how i can display the lyrics as they are sung.

Create a text spline, animate the text, put it an extrude Nurbs. Duplicate the deformer or group your objects together with the deformer (your Sphere, Extrude Nurbs and deformer need to be on the same level,; the deformer must be the last item in the list).
