Font Sizes Don’t Match
I’ve been building some lower thirds with some amazing help from some of the folks here (Lower third lo-rez to hi-rez workflow), but one issue keeps popping up for me. I’m building two discrete styles, they both use the same font and have the same Project Properties, but to achieve a remotely similar font size, I’m having to use vastly different numbers in the Size parameter.
To clarify:
L3 #1 has the Name line in Arial set to 70 pt.
L3 #2 has the Name line in Arial set to 30 pt and it is insignificantly smaller. If I set it to 70 pt it is 2-3 times the size of the text in L3 #1.My first thought was that I had messed with the Z parameters somewhere, but I can find no evidence of this. Project Properties for both are 1920×1080, 8 Bit, Square.
Anyone have any idea what I’ve done?

Is the “smaller text” in another group that may be smaller then the other text? Can you post the file for us to take a look at?

Man, you asked exactly the right question. At some point, without realizing I had done it, I resized some of the groups. I had stuff all over the place. I could tell this one was dumb user error, but I’m so new at Motion, I couldn’t figure out which dumb user error applied. Thanks, Stephen.
