When I generate new text media, my previewed window’s font (and thus my displayed font in the final video) does not match the font I’m trying to add (displayed in the edit generated text window).

Here is a clearer representation of the issue: https://i.imgur.com/Qy3P5.jpg

Any ideas on why this might happen and how to fix it? It happened with several fonts now, and is getting quite annoying.

    Thanks!

Try changing your preview from “Preview (Auto)” to “Good (Full)”. The only way to check how something really looks is to use “Good (Full)” which tells Vegas to take the time to render it exactly. Otherwise “Preview (Auto)” is just for reference.

I did try this initially, and unfortunately it didn’t work. It merely displayed and rendered the same incorrect font more clearly.

    Thanks for the suggestion!

Sounds like a bug. I would report it to Sony Technical Support.
