Font Management
Posted by Daniel Hoffman on July 25, 2016 at 5:25 pmhey all,
sorry if the category is wrong. I couldn’t quite figure out where best to post this.i just built a PC for animation. I am looking for a decent low cost font management program. I migrated from a mac and I found Font Book to be just fine. What is the Windows 10 equivalent?
Thanks!

As the short review says, “it’s a complete, efficient tool to manage and review your font collection.” One of my favorite features is the ability to catagorize your fonts into groups/families you might use regularly, such as “sans-serif”, “slab serif”, “handwritten”, etc.

July 25, 2016 at 5:51 pmHey Joseph!
thanks so much for the suggestion. I’ve heard great things about that program, but it doesn’t run on Windows 10. I wish it did…
Any other suggestions?http://www.danielforresthoffman.com

The link I sent you must have been for the older version. I found what “appears” to be a new version for Windows 10. The first thing you should do is vet the site and the download to make sure it’s legit. I’m still on Win7, so I have no need for it, but make sure you check it out and scan it with your virus software:

Another thing you might try with the older version is to run it in “compatibility mode”, which will trick Nexus into thinking it’s running on Windows 7. Here’s where to figure out whether that will work:
