Anybody know why I can’t seem to get a font to work in Illustrator?
I downloaded a font from the internet and put it into the folder that was Library/Fonts on the MAC HD and the Fonts folder under Administrator as well as the “personal” Adobe Application Support.
When I bring up the Fonts in the Character palette in Illustrator, the font looks like this
!”#$% and it doesn’t work. I might add that the other fonts with the same brackets and !”#$% don’t work either… Thanks

FYI _ I forgot to mention that the font that I imported showed up in the font collection with brackets like this ..
followed by the !#$%’ The other fonts that had the same brackets and !#$* didn’t work either.
