Font Loading Issue
Hello,
I am using AE 7.0 on a Sony VAIO running Windows XP. I have a new font, Gill Sans, which I would like to load into AE.
The font has a .dfont extension. I have copy and pasted the font into the recommended folder:
Windows Program FilesCommon Files AdobeFonts
It doesn’t appear to be loading into AE however. Do I need to do anything else to make this happen? I have searched the forum and web for this issue but can’t find any more info about it.

The .dfont is a Macintosh format. You need to convert the font for use in Windows.
