I’m copying fonts from older backups to my newly reinstalled system software, and i see there is a “Font” folder in MainDrive/System/Library as well as one in MainDrive/Library, and even one in MainDrive/User/Library. Also, within my User/Library, there is one called “Font collections”. How do i make sure those collections are reattached to the right fonts (or will that happen automatically?

Main question: why 3 font folders, and which one should i drag new fonts to?

    Thanks again!

MainDrive/System/Library = No fonts should be installed here.

MainDrive/Library = These fonts will be available to all users on the machine.

MainDrive/User/Library = These fonts will be available only to the user.
