Font displaying incorrectly
Hello. I am using Premiere Pro 1.5. I am trying to use ITC Avant Garde Gothic Demi but for some reason it doesn’t work in my Premiere (the lower case v, w, y and uppercase M and W are all filled in). It works correctly in Photoshop and Word, but not in Premiere. I have also had this problem with versions of Helvetica and other font families.
I have tried to re-install the fonts (they are True Type) but that didn’t help.
I need this font to work for tons of major changes.

Hi – I realize it’s 8 years later and you probably barely remember even making this original post, but here I am running Premiere Pro CC and having what appears to be the exact same issue that you had back then. I’m wondering if you ever found a solution to the issue and if you remember what it is! What little I could find elsewhere on the net leads me to believe it might be related to licensing of the font, but even that’s not entirely clear. Any ideas?
