Elastic Connection

Play with the Dampening (damp) and Rest Length (restLength).

September 15, 2007 at 6:54 pmDo you think this expression could be adapted to make a kind of “spring inertia” to the rotation of a layer ?
What i’d like to do is to automaticaly make a layer rotate when the layer moves (as if the acceleration makes it turn) and when it stops, the layer turns back to its position, but further than the initial position because of the inertia, then back again etc … untill it finally stops turning.
this could be hepful to bring some elasticity to character animation
Thanx !
