  Focus Portable HD’s

  Hi All,

  I have a couple of the older Focus Enhancements FS-C units both 100gig, and I would like to use them with my Canon XH-A1’s

  The problem I have, is I can’t seem to find the 2.1 firmware update anywhere, and wondered if someone on here has it by chance? – the company that bought Focus, told me that they have no support for these anymore.

  All that said, how much of a pain is it to convert from the MT2 or whatever file type that the v.1.0 has, to QT? – can I just import the file in Log and Transfer in FCP 6/7 (not using X) – or should I not even bother?

  I don’t want to count on these for a real gig, only to find out, that the conversion of the HD file will look like crap…

  any thoughts?
