  Focus peaking with Blackmagic Production Camera 4K

  I recently got the Blackmagic Production Camera 4K with the firmware update that includes focus peaking. The problem I’m finding is that with focus peaking enabled, the green outline seems to appear on many edges or highlights, in different planes of depth, not only highlighting what is actually in focus. I relied on this to focus a wide shot where I couldn’t eyeball it on the viewfinder, but when I watched it later on my Retina screen, I found the subject was soft and the background was sharp, although focus peaking had indicated the subject was in focus. Has anyone else encountered this, have any suggestions on how to deal with it?
