Hey I’m having trouble using the Foam effect. I am using it to create faerie sparkles. It looks great but a few seconds into the clip, the sparkles go all crazy super fast like a swarm of hornets.

Nothing is keyframed and I can’t figure which parameter is awry. I turned down turbulence to no avail.

    Here are some settings:

    Production Rate: 1.593

    Initial Speed: .516
    Initial Direction: 0
    Wind Speed: 0
    Wind Direction :0
    Turbulence: .151
    Wobble Amount: .207
    Repulsion: .156
    Pop Velocity: 0

    Simulation Quality: High

    Any ideas?

Here’s where you can see what happens..

Repulsion and Wobble and also Turbulence are what you should be looking at. Try binging them down to zero and then tweak from there.
