I need a quick and fairly flexible way of animating circles/balls – AFX’s Foam effect is looking pretty good, but I can’t make the bubbles opaque or perfectly spherical. Is there a way I can? Have also looked at CC’s Ball Action and Bubble effects which are good for the ball’s appearance but I need to control them generating from certain points, I’m looking for a sort of sequentially appearing and growing sort of affair, and would like to play with bounciness and physics etc

    Any suggestions much appreciated, cheers.

Well, get Trapcode’s Particular and you can have all that. A bit pricey at first, but you will find you can do many wonderful things with it (in addition to bubbles) ;o).
