I first did a search using the above title and found nothing. I may have not performed it correctly.

I’m trying to assemble dozens of family jpegs that appear to be flying to, and past the camera, over a background. Unfortunately the jpegs are large; 1.9mb, 2592×1798. The comp is 1280×720, HDV/HDTV 720 29.97. Using AE CS4 with mac mini (2014).

I know there needs to be a 3D camera(s) but not sure where to look for the right tutorial. It would be great if there were camera changes during the flight. Would like for the jpegs to be resized and positioned. Their numbers will be around 30/40.

I think a lot of this could be handled by expressions but my knowledge of expressions is zero.

I’m sure it will take some time and am willing to learn.

All suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can use a particle system like trapcode particular to send the images flying. Another way is to simply make all the layers 3D and then spread them out on the Z axis. Then fly your camera through the images.

Thanks. Never used trapcode. Was hoping to avoid hand-placing dozens of 3D jpegs in space. Thought there must be a better solution.

    Maybe?

Is it possible to find a copy of trapcode for AE CS4?

    Thanks.
