October 31, 2015 at 11:51 pmIf you like them, and they are cheap, grab them. You can price them later. Me, I have no idea but they look like they could be worth something to the right customer. Or maybe in your own house…..

Depends on the production. I would imagine that someone needs it. But that’s more of a set decoration thing than a lighting thing. And as a practical light, this would be practically worthless.
Sorry. Couldn’t resist.

November 17, 2015 at 8:32 pmMaybe it’s worth a tune-up on the forum name. Lighting for Film/Video or something like that…

November 17, 2015 at 8:40 pmIt’s no big deal… sometimes, maybe once every six months, someone will wander in here and ask about lighting for their bathroom, or whatever. It’s infrequent enough that it’s more amusing than bothersome.
The forum names are a gray area. The suggested “Lighting for Film/Video” is technically Cinematography (although that of course also encompassed the camera side).
Actually we probably get far more posts in this forum that are really cinematographic DP questions than they are about lighting design.
Those two forums should really probably be merged, especially considering how low the traffic is in both these days… but I’m not one to rock the boat.
