Appears to be considerably less expensive than other products and I believe that generally you get what you pay for. But I wouldn’t mind getting fairly good fly pictures for their price than great fly pictures for 3 times more. Also I’m sure that operator skill comes into play. Is it harder to master, cheaper made, more poorly engineered or contructed, harder to ‘balance’ or adjust, or is it just a pretty good deal. Anyone?

I used mine once and sent it back. I was using a VX1000 with Delvcam on the hotshoe. No matter what I did it kept flipping over. Had the same problem with an XL-2 without the monitor. I didn’t dare try any of the more expensive cameras. I use a fig rig and I LOVE IT SO MUCH… I would never work without it. If I ever was going to get something else, I would go with the Glidecam. Catch one on E-bay for a little more than you would pay for the Flycam.
