    HI All-

I have a 21 minute 2 gig mov that I’ve been asked to format down to an mp4 or flv under 30 mb. Does anyone even think this is possible without making it look like total garbage?
I’m already assuming that an mp4 is going to be way too big, but what about flv? And if so, any workflows on getting an flv while using FCP?

Thanks for any and all advice!

21 minute? nope. Not going to happen. The rate that Dave gives you of 233, is about right for a 160×120 video in h.264

You could get about 6 minutes that looked bearable at 320×180 around 220kb/s and 15fps. But 21 min? Nope. Forget it.
