flv to Qt 264 wave form straight line
I downloaded some harley flv’s to use their sound in A/E (cs5), I converted them to QT h264’s. When played in QT I get sound right from the get go, when I brought them into A/E and did a ram preview I noticed that the waveform shows a straight line for a considerable distance, like half way though the clip at which point it hits a wave, then I get sound.
Does anyone know what happened to the opening sound?

Thanks Dave,
I initially downloaded the flv from youtube using Elmedia, it then was open in qT I then saved it as a self contained movie H264, I then imported it into After Effects and made a new composition of it. Once in After Effects I opened the composition at which point I noticed the waveform.
I’m kinda new to this so, if I am missing any details please let me know and I will get the info needed to fix this problem

Sounds like a plan Dave, I’m on a somewhat of a long gig at the moment but will definitely give it a whirl as soon as I get home
