October 6, 2005 at 1:08 amYou can’t do it directly but I’m assuming you must have Flash Pro and it came with an encoder application. It can be as simple as dropping a file on the encoder, I think.
Also, Quicktime pro will save a file as an FLV so you could open something there and then “Save as”. (In fact, after I installed and removed the Flash MX2004 trial I noticeed that quicktime was still able to export to FLV. That never seemed to expire…)
So you need to do a render in Vegas that the Flash encoder will recognize. A two step process unless you can frame serve it.
If you complain that Vegas can’t do it directly I’m going to accuse you of being spoiled.
