FLV encode crashing / PP2
I have a 9 minute sequence…relative simple…800×600, 24fps, bunch of cuts, some color correction. Everything is rendered, although the encoder seems to want to re-render everything.
ANYWAY, the real problem is exporting a 640×480, 10fps, FLV-ON2VP6 variant of it. The process gets half way through and then the encoder crashes…something about UNABLE TO INITALIZE CODEC. The actual FLV encoding process did start since there is a half a FLV file on the drive, and the video plays up to a point, then just audio.
Any ideas? Could this be a memory leak issue in Premier Pro 2?
I need to use Premiere’s built in encoder due some limitations in the source codec of the file. It can only be used from the source once. An intermediate file format like QT ANIM or AVI UNCOMPRESSED as a sub master for Sorenson Squeeze, will not work.
