  • FLV audio is cut off when using Cleaner

    Hi folks,

I am trying to convert a .mov to a .flv for our website using cleaner 6.5.1 using one of the flv presets. The first 3 seconds of audio get cut off when the file is converted to flv (audio in the mov is fine). I’m not sure where to look or where to go from here. Any advice is appreciated.

    Thanks,
    elsie

My only advice is to not use cleaner, it is so out of date. Think about getting another application like Episode or Squeeze.

    Hi,

Not sure if this will help but I used to get audio clipped off the end of Cleaner encodes if I cut original movie really close to the end of the audio. Just extending my movie or adding 15-20 frames of black at the end usually solved the problem. You might try the same trick at the start of your clip.

    Good luck,

    Marc
