Floating instead of just moving from point A to point B?
I am doing some text animations, giving a movie I’m working on a similar look to scott pilgrim. Obviously they’re pros so it’s not gonna look like that, but my problem is when I try to make it look like something is floating away and fades off I just keyframe the position and as it’s moving upwards, keyframe the opacity. It looks more robotic than floating, do you have any suggestions for making my letters look more like they’re floating away rather than just moving up? Thanks!

It sounds to me as if you need to play around with Ease on your keyframes. When your element is starting to move, use an Ease Out (right-click the keyframe to get to the Ease controls), and use an Ease In when you want your element to come to a smooth stop.
There are also shortcut keys for these, as well as Easy Ease, which you can do by just hitting the F9 key when your keyframes are selected.
