    Hi,

I don’t mean to double-post, but the most recent posting on this issue was half a year ago, and I wanted to make sure this is seen.

Has anyone been able to use Flip4Mac to compress WMV HD content and play it on the Iodata AVeL Linkplayer? I have tried every one of Flip4Mac’s HD options, to no avail… whether over the network or burned to a DVD-ROM.

    Thanks,
    Graham Jones.

I just use the standard WinMediaEncoder and it works fine with F4M. Haven’t tried the F4M with IOData compatibility in a while though.

    Hi Charles,

    Thanks for responding.

A thread from early this year said that Flip4Mac was working with Iodata on this… I guess I’ll follow up with them, as I just dropped $150 on their HD Studio for the sole purpose of encoding for the LinkPlayer, and it’s wasted cash for me if it doesn’t work!

    Thanks,
    Graham.
