encoding of MOV to WMV using flip4mac?<
Not specific enough. "Best" is meaningless unless we know exactly what you're trying to do. Do you want to save time or create an image you'll be proud of?
> I need to a reasonably good quality full size image
to upload to a television server.<
Then you probably need MPEG2, not WMP.
> I have in the past used procoder on a pc and got great
results fast but now have limited time and moving
files from one machine to another is too slow.<
Then you're not going to like Flip4Mac. It's much slower than simply copying some files and using the tools you already know how to use. Exporting with F4M on our big G5s via Compressor or Cleaner takes about three times as long as using most QT formats.
Your BEST settings will be the same ones you used in ProCoder. Why would you want to change anything?

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
