New to Flip4Mac, and liking the quality and convenience. But, a few questions:

Is there a “sweet spot” in the settings which will give the best quality and the widest playability? I don’t really care how long the transcoding process takes. I don’t understand why “VBR constrained” gives a range, and “VBR” does not.

What is the best way to change the pixel dimensions of the .wmv file? Usually clients want a smaller-sized file for ease of downloading on their websites.

    Thank you!

You can adjust all of this in a compressor preset and just go fram there. I use 2 pass VBR and I cap the data rate so I can calculate a per minute megabyte size.

That way your presets and quallity level can change based on the length of your video.
