    Hello,

I was in the process of purchasing Flip4Mac so that I can convert WMV files through FCP, but I’m confused as to which version I should purchase. Would I be able to export a full-length file to WMV with the Player Pro ($29) or do I need to purchase the Studio ($49?).

Thanks in advance for your help!

This PDF makes it a little more clear.

You need Studio. You would need Studio Pro if you need a really specific setting, but if not then the regular Studio’s pre-sets are probably fine.

and Studio Pro HD if you want to do 2 pass encoding or encode to HD frame sizes.

Player Pro allows one to use wmv source to edit in Final Cut Pro. All Studio versions include Player Pro.

Studio series also works in QuickTimePro and as a plugin in Compressor too.

I guess that covers the rest of the bases.
