I’ve had quite the time trying to get Premier Elements 7 to accept media captured on a Flip Mino camera. I’ve tried all the fixes I could find on these forums, including reinstalling the software and codec that come packaged with the Flip and and exporting from QuickTime Pro and Picasa 3.

But I still can’t get Premiere to show video (audio is fine). Any other program I’ve tried–VLC, Picasa, the Flip editor, Windows Movie Maker–will play the files without a problem, but Premiere plays only audio with a black screen with about one line of flickering video along the bottom edge.

Any suggestions on the missing piece of my puzzle? Thanks!

Decompress the video prior to import – Codec: Uncompressed or None. I use AVS Video Converter.
