Flip for Mac not real WMV files?
I just exported a bunch of files for windows streaming, and used Flip For Mac to export, and the guys are telling me that they cannot use them becuase they are not REAL” wmv files???? anyone?

I don’t know who these “guys” are, but that has to be the most inarticulate way of describing a technical problem that I’ve heard in a while.
What does that mean, “not real?” Does that mean they’re unreal, surreal, or just flat out fake?
To answer your question, they are as real as it gets. No different than if you encode using any other encoder.

Flip4Mac encodes WMV. files as well as any other encoder. That being said there are any number of reasons why your files may not be suitable for streaming. You should get a list of file specs from the Web master and make sure you selecte the correct encoding options.
