Flickering Frame FX (as seen in Music Videos)
Greetings everyone—I’ve been studying a few music videos to as a learning tool for my editing skills. I saw a couple videos use a frame flicker effect (synced with a rapid high hat drum sequence)…It is used sort of like a transition frame for the incoming static frame@4:00 (https://www.mtv.com/overdrive/?artist=1164800&vid=142876). Does anyone know how this effect is accomplished?

Edit a whole bunch of 1-frame or 2-frame clips of shot A to cover shot B.
