    Hello,

So I have a bunch of digitized super 16mm film that I am editing in FCP. However, in some of the shots, there is a weird flicker (this is AFTER using Cinema Tools to reverse Telecine, or de-interlace, the footage). I tried using FCP’s flicker filter, but to no avail.

Any suggestions? Is there another flicker filter I can use?

    Thanks!

Are you seeing this problem on a external monitor that is interlaced? If you step frame by frame are you seeing this flicker? Try removing the Telecine in Compressor. Drag your file into compressor and select a ProRes codec encoding option. Click on the frame control tab. Turn on frame control. Under de-interlace click the popup button and set it to Reverse Telecine. Give that a shot.
