flicker in moving photos
Hi all,
I’m having a little trouble with flicker in my imported photos. In Photoshop I place the photo onto a transparent canvas and save as a tiff. Then I import into FCP & they look great. The trouble comes when I animate the photos…going from smaller to larger, I get flicker in areas where there are fine lines etc… I tried the flicker filter and the image stabilizer and they did not work.

Once again the image optimization devils come to visit.
Resize the photo in photoshop to be no more than twice the native frame size of DV at 72 DPI (1440 x 960). 1 pixel of vertical blur in PS will also help.
