I’m trying to import a .PNG file that is some music notation. I’m using Vegas Pro 8.

I get the image imported okay and it would be fine except for the flickering. I have checked the “reduce interlace flicker” option but it does not seem to help.

I’ve searched google for the last 2 days straight trying to solve this problem… it’s as if I’m the only person who has ever had it.

Are there ANY tricks or suggestions you might have?

You can reduce the resolution of your PNG files to the resolution of your project before importing into Vegas

As I recall, music notation is a lot of very fine lines which are always a problem for video.
If at all possible, bring it into a paint program and try to make the lines thicker.
If that’s not possible, add the Gaussian Blur FX.
Set Horizontal to 0, and Vertical to 0.001 to 0.003.
