    Hi,

I recently shot at the Four Seasons in Boston and they had some nasty LED lights set up, that really brightened up the room well, but gave me an awful flicker all over my 3 cameras. I tried every shutter speed I could and this was the most I could get rid of. In hindsight I didn’t try shooting PAL could that have had an effect?

Any way I was hoping to use Flicker Fixer to fix the footage but no settings seem to be able to fix it. Any suggestions on what to do with Flicker Fixer?

    Thank you!

    Hi Sam,

Thanks for uploading the clip for testing. In our internal test we found that the problem went away almost completely with the Flicker Fixer when running in ‘Temporal Smoothing YCC’ mode, even at the default settings. We also found that the ‘Temporal Smoothing RGB’ got rid of the flickering as well, but it actually changed the contrast/gamma somewhat, so the YCC mode would be recommended.

If this doesn’t help you can let me know at support@borisfx.com.

    Thanks again.

    Jon
