flicker Effect
I’m looking to create a flicker effect in FCP HD. Not the effect that causes flickering. I’m looking to do more of a image jump. my reference is the film “November” with Courtny Cox. In the beginning of the film, during the credits there are many frames of images lumped together causeing a flickering effect. I was wondering how to do this. i was told to take my image to 3 frames and then place a white slug for 3 frames and then a black slug for 3 frames and then another image at 3 frames. I did this but it doesn’t look right. any help would be appreciated.

3 frames is too long.
1 frame will probably look better.
