    Right click on your video event in the timeline, select properties and choose “Reduce Interlace Flicker”

    Peabody,

    You select entire timeline footage by clicking onto the 1st event, hold down the shift key and select the last event. Your whole timeline is selected. Go to edit > switches and check Interlace Flicker.
    You got it! Isn’t Vegas amazing?

    Just curious: when would one NOT want to reduce interlace flicker? Why is this an option and not a given?

    Basically any time you DON’T need to (which is most of the time for me using standard DV footage full screen). I usually only turn it on for photos or if I explicitly see it’s needed.
