lol… I actually think it makes more sense relative to what you;re actually doing than match frame, we’re just used to that term. In my dreams I hope they redefine Match Frame to be the name of the still missing (and sorely missed) source playhead to timeline playhead replace command. *That* would actually make sense… 😉

October 29, 2012 at 2:26 pmI find that they crash my system consistently and repeatably. And if they’re not the same length, all they do is screw up your sync. How on earth can anyone use them? I simply layer up my choices and enable and disable. Doesn’t muck up the timing of your project.

October 29, 2012 at 2:33 pmBecause it’s not match frame? It is, but it isn’t. They actually went for correctness here. Match frame pulled up the clip, parked on the same frame, in the viewer. That shortcut was F. Shift+F highlighted the clip in the bin, now called event (it’s certainly not a bin so can’t call it a bin) so I’d say they were pretty accurate. Now that we have a event viewer though perhaps it’s a little of both, since the two are completely one and the same in X. Whatever is highlighted in the bin is in the event viewer. However you don’t have to have an event viewer open I guess.
