“Flattening/squashing text”
Sorry! i have so many doubts today!
How could i achieve a “flattening -squash” effect, as if a anvil fell on text. I see i have only the option of “Size” which is not right. Shatter breaks up which i dont want either, what i need is maintaining the original size, the “text” to be squashe until flat

Try animating the text layer’s “scale” property from the timeline or comp window. You’ll need to click the little chain link next to the property to unlink the X and Y scale.
