flatening a cylender
Posted by Cgaynor on June 26, 2005 at 7:32 pmi have some text that goes around a cylender, i need the text to flaten out after it goes around. Any way that i might be able to do this???

June 26, 2005 at 10:57 pmIt wouldnt be truly 3d (as in you cant use an After Effects camera to fly around it) but you could do it with displacement mapping. Just use an image of a gradient to displace the text layer. If you need more in depth instructions just post a response and I’ll help out.
