flashing when fading clip or out..why?
this is a random issue but its important I fix asap. whenever I fade a clip in or out. it will flash where its cut. it usually only happens when the clip is above another video track.

Usually this is a graphics card issue. The FX are probably GPU accelerated so turning them off eliminates the GPU and thus the problem. Make sure you have the latest drivers. Sometimes the latest drivers are the problem and you need older drivers. It’s a tough one to debug. Find someone who is using the same graphics card and see what version drivers they are using (assuming they don’t have the problem).
