  • Flashing colors in my renders….

Posted by Jan Gul on January 28, 2013 at 8:47 pm

I just rendered out from Resolve Lite. I started with DPX files, made color corrections and I have exported out to ProRes422 and for some reason there are colors randomly flashing in the white areas. Has anyone else had this problem?

    Thanks,

    Jan

I’ve seen that when using a soft clip in Resolve lite. May also be due to only having a single graphics card in your system, but was never able to test

If you are on OSX 10.7.5, and if you have a ATI card, this is a known OpenCL bug in the ATI driver. The fix is to upgrade to OSX 10.8.2.

What if upgrading OS isn’t an option? I’m having the same problem with my renders. 5D source, exported to MXF RGB 1080p Avid 1:1 10 bits as well as QT Unc RGB 10 bits
