    hey guys
what is the best and fastest way to creat those glwoy flashes that are used a lot in video clips, where the video would be playing in normal speed then, few frames of fast motion with a glow then back to normal speed
how do I get that glow?

A 6-10 frame glow using Boris or Sapphire looks pretty much like a film flash.

If you don’t have these programs, you can always use a dip-to-color transition. It’s in the quick transition tool. You apply it, then enter the effect mode and change the background color to white.

search creative cow for a tutorial called film flash.. They show you how to do it in after effects but i was able to replicate it with FCP using levels and glow effects. Good luck!
