    Hello frineds,
I am looking at buying an HD camera and I’m on a budget. I’m trying to figure out if these HD cameras from sony and canon that have flash memory drives are comptible with final cut pro. Basically I need an HD camera that I can use with final cut for under a thousand dollars. Will I have to render all this footage once I open it in final cut. How do you set final cut up for this type of footage? the specks say it records in

    Video: MPEG-4 AVC/H.264
    Still: JPEG

Canon VIXIA HF-10 AVCHD 16GB Dual Flash Memory/SDHC Memory Camcorder

    what do you all think?

You’ve only listed a Canon camera. Yes, it will work with FCP.
